The Sticky & Sweet Tour is just a month and a half away and we have the current set list being rehearsed. There are a few surprises such as a video with Britney Spears for the Human Nature number and Madonna is set to be mummified on stage during another number.

Now that Madonna has come out with her Hard Candy Album/DVD, Matt and I are anxiously awaiting the new Sticky and Sweet Tour. The tour starts on Aug 23, 2008 in London and then comes to the states in October. We are going to multiple shows because we are CRAZY!!!

Confessions in Miami

Miami was really fun. I did not have a great time due to personal reasons but the shows were amazing. Night #1 we had seats on the side of the arena which were close but not great ... I prefer floor seats.
The second night in Miami I went with my friend Earliene and we had 3rd Row. Madonna looked right at me during Forbidden Love and smiled because she heard me scream her name.

Confessions in Boston

2005 Madonna released Confessions On A Dance Floor and with it came the Confessions World Tour in Summer 2006. The first show I went to was once again in Boston, MA and we had 2nd row the first night in front of the main stage which were amazing seats! Night #2 we had front row next the the catwalk which put us in touching distance of Madonna as you can see from the pic we took below!

Reinvented in Miami

As if 2 nights in Boston and 2 nights in Fort Lauderdale were not enough I still had to go to the Miami show. Miami was GREAT! The crowd was crazy and the entire American Airline Arena was involved.

Reinvention Fort Lauderdale

Next Stop Fort Lauderdale Florida. My ex and I went to both shows in Fort Lauderdale. The first night was horrible. The crowd really did not get into the concert at all. In fact people were yelling at us to sit down. The next night we had really great floor seats in Row 4! It was great making eye contact with Madonna especially when she sang Crazy For You and said "This song is for my fans that have stuck by me the past 20 years!" (That would have been me...lol )

Reinvention Night #2

This night was very interesting. I met my cousin Michael there at the show but not right until the show almost started. I decided to buy the Reinvention Tour VIP Pass through the ICON Fan Club. That pass allowed me to go inside the building 2 hours prior and have a private meal/ drinks before the show. I decided to wear camouflage army outfit, dog tags, and boots to match some of the dancers for the military section of the concert. When I was walking inside the Centrum with my pass around my neck, I had some guy with a walkie talkie approach me and say "Let John know that there is a major accident on the highway and that we cannot start the show until more people arrive. Tell him we wont be starting until around 9:45 this evening!" So I told him "I will do that! I thought it was rather hilarious that I had to locate someone from Madonna's tour team and I let them know that the concert could not begin until around 9:45. I know this really isn't a big deal. It was funny to me because I was just walking around the stadium in the private halls and they thought I was one of the dancers.

Reinvention and Damnation!

I attended the Reinvention Tour concert in Worcester with my best friend Rebecca and my cousin Michael. Before the concert here was a nun outside preaching. We decided to do a little preaching of our own against her. She was telling shouting "Everyone who enters that concert tonight is going to be damned forever!" WE decided to make our own poster and follow her around which landed us a spot on the front page of the Worcester Newspaper.

Drowned Miami

After two nights in Boston I decided to go see the show again in Fort Lauderdale (Sunrise) Florida. The best part of this show was that it was Madonna's Birthday and we all got to sing Happy Birthday to her.

The Drowned World Tour, although was not one of my favorite Madonna concerts, it was very theatrical. The part that I liked best was the Japanese themed section when Madonna performed Frozen and Sky Fits Heaven. The other great part of this concert was Madonna's performance of You'll See! She only performed this song at certain shows and I happen to be lucky enough to catch it in Boston!

In August 1993 I attended the Madonna Expo in Hollywood California. It was a great experience and I got to meet several celebrities and attend some great parties. Another exciting part of the trip was traveling through the Hollywood hills to find Madonna's current residence. This was when she was living in the castle that she painted with red & yellow stripes to annoy her neighbors. I drove up and then got out and rang the doorbell at the gate. At that point a security guard came out to the gate to ask me to leave. I asked him if Madonna was at home but he told me she was not. I guess I was thinking she was going to invite me in for coffee?? I know.......crazy?!#@%! Oh well it still was an experience.

When Madonna brought her Girlie Show to America she only played a few select cities and the closest was NY for me. My best friend Rebecca and I hopped on a long train ride from RI to NY City to attend the show. Once we got there we quickly dressed into our Erotica-esque outfits to fit in with the theme of the tour. We had really great seats and some of my favorite songs that night were Erotica, Fever, La Isla Bonita, and Justify My Love.

Blond Ambition in 1990 was an excellent concert. When I arrived their with my friends they had a camera/ light set up where my seat location was. They told me to go to the office to get my new seats. While in the office we met one of Madonna's dancers Luis and got to ask him a few questions. Then when we had to go to our seats they gave us 10 rows from the side stage. The seats were not that great since the drummer was in my way but we did get to see alot of behind the stage things. I also got to touch the candle props used during Like A Prayer. Going to a concert with my friend Rebecca is great she had the tape recorder, camera, and a huge banner we made that said "Madonna Leaves Us Breathless!" (Breathless Mahoney) all hidden on her body. I went two of Madonna's 3 nights at the Centrum and I chose the 2 nights wisely because on the third night that I did not go she canceled due to throat problems.

New York City Here I Come!

The next encounter with Madonna was in New York City when I went to see Speed the Plow in August 1988. Speed-the-Plow was first performed by the Lincoln Center Theater at the Royale Theater, Broadway, New York, in 1988, with a cast of Joe Mantegna (Gould), Ron Silver (Fox) and Madonna (Karen). The play was nominated for a Tony Award for Play of the Year. The great thing about this event were the tix they sent me. They were front row ORCH section. Row B was the first row. It was great and Madonna kept looking down and smiling at me. At the end of the performance when they came to bow she was one foot in front of me and said "Hello"...I was so excited!

The first time I saw Madonna was in Foxboro Ma. on July 9, 1987 at Sullivan Stadium. I was so excited because this was not only the first time I would be seeing her live but the first time she would be singing my favorite song La Isla Bonita.
